Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden

A part of the Honolulu Botanical Gardens this island paradise is open every day (except Christmas and New Year) and is free of charge. Nestled between the mountains and overlooking an idyllic pond this garden is a nice change from the sandy beaches and resorts. There are camping facilities and activities such as drawing and painting on Wednesdays between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Camping is available from Friday at 9 AM to Monday at 4 PM.
